ACOUSTIC LINING

True Point Audio Ltd offers DYNAMAT as the best value material for sorting out resonance problems in Hi-Fi equipment.

Benefits & Features of Dynamat

As the pioneers of sound dampening, Dynamat is recognised by consumers around the world as a quality product for solutions to unwanted noise and vibration. Made in the USA, the Dynamat brand maintains a dominant market share in acoustic solutions. The material is a technologically advanced plastic with a low-density synthetic core and alloy skin, it forms and fuses to your hi-fi equipment surfaces.

It prevents unwanted dynamic motion energy. You'll hear less unwanted noise caused by vibrations and resonance and more of your favourite music, with noticeably improved bass response.

SuperLite is lighter and thinner than Original Dynamat and comes with a distinctive blue finish.   The flexible, low-density synthetic core converts dynamic motion energy to silence. It is a thin, easy to install, super-sticky, space-age synthetic, bonded to an alloy skin that converts noise causing vibration into silent energy.

When looking for resonance deadening materials, please avoid bitumen based products as they don't offer anything like the performance of the butyl based mats. Bitumen solidifies when cold, melts when hot, has a lasting smell and are a false economy.

Installation:

  • Remove dust, grease, moisture, and other foreign matter from the application surface.
  • Measure and cut the sheets
  • Remove the paper liner
  • Place in position and press firmly to adhere
  • Use scissors, knife or die to cut to the desired size and shape before removing the release liner.
  • Peel off the release liner. The simplest application technique is to bend the mat slightly and attach it along its shortest edge.
  • Press the mat firmly into place, using a roller for larger pieces. The roller reduces the risk of leaving air pockets, which reduce sound damping capacity.
  • The temperature of the mat and application surface should not be below room temperature during fitting.
  • Heating the material is not necessary.
